This piece centers on a bright green “visitor” figure—part spirit, part alien—standing against a wash of violet, gold, and nebula-like texture…it’s actually a drawing of a Ben 10 character my kiddo drew when he was 4. Surrounding it are layers of runes, sigils, Buddhist imagery, and vintage newspaper clippings about jack-o-lantern ghosts + Saddam’s genie obsessions. Metallic owls perch in the corner like guardians of the piece, while scattered stars, symbols, and hidden faces reveal themselves the longer you look.
